Kerala: Police, revenue officials administered Covid-19 vaccine in Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA: As many as 557 people including police and officials of revenue and local self-government institutions were administered Covid-19 vaccine from 12 centres in the district on Thursday.
At the same time, Alappuzha district on Thursday reported 342 Covid-19 cases. As many as 335 people contracted the disease through local infection. The source of infection of two remains unknown.At the same time, 432 people undergoing treatment for the disease tested negative on Thursday.
At present, the district has 4434 active cases. At the same time, 68214 people recovered from the disease in Alappuzha till date.
Alappuzha police on Thursday registered 30 cases for violating the Covid-19 lockdown direction. The police have also arrested 16 people in this connection. Action was also taken against 253 people for not wearing face masks and 346 people for not keeping social distancing.
